VRML
(Virtual Reality Markup Language) pronounced as the individual letters
.V R M L. or sometimes vermil, a programming language developed by Tony
Parisi and Mark Pesce used to create three dimensional screen images. More
specifically, VRML is used to create virtual worlds, with 3-D rooms and scenes
where users, represented by avatars, can walk, rest, fly about, or encounter
other avatars. Animation, video and sound are all part of what makes VRML
